How will you show practical broking skills?
Look beyond delivery labels and ask how the provider gathers the evidence each unit needs.

Must you complete a work placement?
The reviewed core assessment requirements allow workplace or realistic simulation with specified resources. Do not infer fixed placement hours from the course code. Every chosen elective and the provider’s course plan still need checking.
Does one evidence requirement mean one assignment?
A provider can design tasks that gather evidence across requirements. Ask for an assessment map, resource list and explanation of feedback and resubmissions. These summaries are not full assessment checklists.
How should practice information be handled?
Use approved fictional cases or the provider’s safe evidence-sharing process. Check permission and privacy controls before using real workplace information.
How do you turn the assessment plan into a timetable?
Allow time to learn the material, practise, prepare documents, complete observed tasks, receive feedback and resubmit if needed. The seven core units and five electives define the required learning, not one national course duration. Ask for the advertised course period, expected weekly workload, assessment booking availability and marking times separately from the access or enrolment deadline.
- Who supplies the client scenarios, financial documents, software and role-play participants?
- Are conversations live, recorded or assessed in another approved way, and when can they be booked?
- What time is allowed for feedback and further attempts before my final deadline?
- What happens if I pause study, miss a booking or need an extension, and what would it cost?
